You must complete the registration form and send in the submission fee.
The fee is $25 (non-refundable) for up to three (3) pieces.
Prizes are as follows:
BEST OF SHOW: $250.00
In each Category: 1st place: $75.00
2nd place: $50.00
3rd place: $25.00
Criteria for entrance:
All submissions must be original work.
Artwork must be framed, matted, and ready to be hung (flat work) or self-supporting (3D work).
No saw tooth hangers will be accepted.
Artwork must be no larger than 36” x 40”
Cash prizes will be awarded at the end of the show on Sunday. Prizes will ONLY be awarded to the artist or to the person designated on this registration form. If no one collects an awarded prize at the end of the show, it will be mailed to the address provided on this form via the US Postal Service.
Juried Art submissions may be dropped off at the Beulah Fire Station at 8675 Central Ave, Beulah, CO 81023, across the street from the school, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. If you are unable to drop off your submissions at this time, you must contact us directly to make other arrangements, contact Sumi at 719-485-7864 or at thebvac@gmail.com. Please do not drop off your submissions to the Firehouse outside of this time-frame. If we are not able to keep track of your art, we cannot be responsible for it and it may be disqualified from the show.
Juried Art will be set up for display at the Fire Station from August 4th - August 6th. Signs will direct you to the staging area for drop-off. Judging will take place at the Opening Reception on Friday, August 4th from 4-6 pm.
ALL JURIED ART MUST REMAIN UNTIL 4:00 PM SUNDAY, August 6, 2023. Juried art may be collected after the show concludes at 4:00 pm on Sunday. At this time, you will be required to “sign out” your art and collect prize money. BVAC commission is 20% on all sales from the juried
art show.
Winners of the Juried Show agree to allow an image of the artwork to be used in the future
promotional flyers, and social media.
If you prefer to collect your work on Monday August 7th from 12:00pm to 3:00 pm, please let us know when you drop off your work. If you need to make other arrangements, please contact Sumi 719-485-7864 or at thebvac@gmail.com
By signing the registration form, you agree to release the Beulah Valley Arts Council from any
and all liability in the event of injury and/or damage or loss of property or goods while
participating in the Beulah Valley Arts and Crafts Show. The BVAC requires the registration form
to be signed and dated.
