For seventy years, the Beulah Valley Arts and Crafts Festival has been a beloved Southern Colorado tradition, a  celebration of creativity, community, and the spirit of the Beulah Valley. On August 1–2, 2026, the festival will once again fill the grounds of the Beulah School of Natural Sciences with artisans, families, music, food, and the unmistakable energy that has defined this event for 70 years.
 

What began in the mid-1950s as a small gathering organized by artist Bill Sharp and fellow creatives has grown into a regional showcase of fine art, pottery, photography,  woodcarvings, sculptures, homemade soaps, candles and cottage foods, local authors, musicians and more. The festival has remained a cornerstone of cultural life in our valley and a testament to the power of volunteerism and community pride.

Today, the festival continues to thrive as a 100%  volunteer-organized event, held in partnership with the Beulah Educational Support Team (BEST). Proceeds directly support  students and staff at the Beulah School of Natural Sciences and also support community art education and workshops provided throughout the year by the Beulah Valley Arts Council.

This year’s festival promises to be one of our most exciting yet. In addition to the artisan market and live entertainment, visitors will enjoy food trucks and a beer garden, a community-wide scavenger hunt, the Beulah Cool Mountain Run Classic Car Show, and the ever-popular street dance featuring headliner, Martini Shot. Beulah invites you to join us for this very special event!

Sanctioned by the National Street Rod Association, the Beulah Cool Mountain Run Car show runs  concurrently with the  Beulah Valley Arts and Crafts Fair! The  picturesque Beulah valley serves as the backdrop for your favorite cars  and trucks. Join us for the NON-COMPETITIVE CAR SHOW!

The Beulah  Cool Mountain Run is a fundraiser for the Beulah Educational Support  Team. The event will provide fundamental dollars for student support,  staffing, academic trips, and more at the Beulah School for Natural  Sciences.
